Three hours with Gaudí and the Barcelona he helped to shape. We walk Passeig de Gràcia, stop at Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, and finish at the Sagrada Família with time to read its façades properly.
Gaudí's buildings are easy to photograph and hard to understand. This private walking tour looks at them from the street, where their shapes, materials and stories can be seen in the life of the city around them.
YOUR ROUTE
Plaça de Catalunya → Passeig de Gràcia → Casa Batlló → La Pedrera → Sagrada Família
We start at Plaça de Catalunya and walk up Passeig de Gràcia, the avenue where Barcelona's wealthy families commissioned the most daring architects of their time.
On one block, Casa Batlló stands beside buildings by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch. We compare the three façades and talk about how Modernisme changed the city.
Further up the avenue we stop at Casa Milà, better known as La Pedrera, with its waves of stone and iron balconies.
The walk ends at the Sagrada Família. Gaudí took over the project in 1883 and worked on it until his death in 1926. We walk around the outside and look at how its façades tell their stories in stone.
PLEASE NOTE: This tour takes place outside. Entrance to the buildings is not included, and the guide does not lead visits inside. You can book tickets separately and visit on your own after the tour.

"Perfect from start to finish. Comfortable transport, great communication, and an unforgettable trip. Will definitely book again."
"Exceeded all expectations. Private tour means you go at your own pace — no rushing, no crowds. Worth every penny."
"What an incredible four days. Vienna completely blew us away — the Hofburg, the coffee houses, the sheer scale of it all. Salzburg was charming and intimate by comparison. And Hallstatt... we arrived early in the morning before the crowds and it was absolutely magical. Our guide was brilliant — knowledgeable, relaxed, and brilliant company throughout. We would book again without hesitation."
"An incredible day — the rock formations at Pravčická brána were unlike anything I have seen in Europe, and the boat ride through the gorge was a highlight. Guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about both the Czech and German sides. The weather was not on our side (overcast and a bit of drizzle for most of the afternoon), which was a shame for the views from the fortress, but did not spoil the day. Would go again in better conditions."
"Absolutely outstanding experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, punctual and made the whole day feel effortless. Highly recommend."
